Hennessy Auctioneers is an independent family run auctioneering firm originally based in Stradbally, Co. Laois but recently setup a new office in Portlaoise. John Hennessy, Company Director and Auctioneer with over 30 years’ experience of real estate in Laois heads up the company. He runs the company with his wife Julie, son Ciaran and daughter in law Olive. We strive to provide a dedicated and professional service to their clients with primary focus ensuring the client achieves what they want in a timely and stress free manner. We have vast expertise in agricultural, commercial and residential property, offering a wide range of services from sales, leasing and valuations. Our client base has grown from strength to strength over the years and we have a great reputation in both rural and town properties, but especially in the agriculture sector with the Hennessy Family hailing from a farming tradition. Furthermore the company also hosts a well known monthly collective farm & plant machinery auction at the old livestock mart in Portlaoise.
