Herdy’s ethos is rooted in one simple belief; to spread smiles and happiness. Herdy’s dream is to become the most lovable brand personality in the world. Originally created as a gifting/character brand with a modern take on the Lake District inspired by the region’s native breed Herdwick sheep, Herdy has grown into an award winning, multi-category retail business and lifestyle brand. There are two retail operations; Herdy® (lovable gift, home, accessory and lifestyle products) and HerdySleep® (health and wellbeing wool and natural fibre bedding). With diligently selected manufacturing partners Herdy designs and produces all of its own products. There are four own stores in the Lake District, over 250 trade accounts throughout the UK, a licensing programme and trade in the US and Asia. There’s even a retailer in the Falkland Islands! A highly engaged community of friends and fans follow Herdy® on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, TikTok, and Pinterest. The company has a charity, the HerdyFund, which is managed and administered by the Cumbrian Community Foundation. The fund model is a percentage of profits give-back. It’s purpose is to champion and drive awareness for what originally inspired the idea for Herdy; birthplace, the cheeky Herdwick sheep and the centuries old upland fell farming culture.
