Herget Safety

Founded in 2010, Herget Safety offers certified firearms, pepper spray, self defense and medical training, including Massachusetts approved firearms licensing classes in North Central Massachusetts from North Quabbin to the Fitchburg area. Recently partnered with Sabre Safety, an international leader in Law Enforcement and civilian defense products, in their SABRE Civilian Safety Awareness Program offering pepper spray and self defense instruction. Alan Herget is the lead instructor and founder of Herget Safety. Alan is a SWAT trained Law Enforcement & Private Security professional with 25+ years in Safety & Security training. Alan is an Emergency Medical Technician trainer, American Heart Association Basic Life Support instructor, Certified National Rifle Association instructor Herget Safety employs a select group of assistant instructors working under Alan’s guidance. Each assistant instructor is an active duty sworn law enforcement officer, trained medical First Responder or EMT, and a National Rifle Association certified Range Safety Officer.
