Heritage Capital is an SEC registered investment adviser sponsored by Doshi Capital, a New York based family investment office. Heritage is sub-advised by Mumbai based Heritage Investment Pvt. Ltd, which is headed by Rajesh Bhatia. Mr. Bhatia previously ran a $1.5 billion division for Reliance Capital, India’s largest investment management firm. Heritage Capital India is a long-short equity fund that targets superior risk adjusted performance verses the broad-based Indian market indices, over a mid to long term time horizon. The fund invests in the equity and convertible securities of listed Indian companies using a flexible approach that emphasizes structural growth, fundamental analysis, an absolute return mindset and an awareness of global factors. The fund differentiates itself primarily based upon an experienced team with US and India investing experience, deep local relationships and expertise, and intensive research combining top down and bottom up analysis.
