Herringbone Animation Studios

Herringbone is a remote-based independent animation studio founded in 2024, specializing in contemporary storytelling through traditional hand drawn animation. We focus on emotionally grounded, character driven stories that reinterpret timeless themes through a modern lens. The studio’s first screen credit came in 2025, creating an animated sequence for the award winning short film Did You Remember The Cat, now streaming on Roku TV. Since then, Herringbone has produced a proof of concept teaser for Fables, a dark fairytale anthology series currently in development and production, and is actively developing an additional limited series to be announced.
