Hertie Student Association

The Hertie Student Association is the official student association at the Hertie School of Governance. Since the inception of the Hertie School of Governance in 2003, student participation in the affairs of the School was provided for in the articles of incorporation and organised by study programme and class year, with the option to establish a student association already guaranteed. Student representatives advocated on behalf of students in the Academic Senate and other school governance bodies, as well overseeing the funding and operation of retreats, gatherings, and student clubs and organisations. The purpose of the association is the promotion of general, adult and vocational education, including student support, international views, tolerance in all matters of culture and international understanding among the student body, managment and faculty of the Hertie School of Governance.
