Our ground-breaking pre-clinical data shows that platelets maintain a proteomic equation of health in which levels of inhibitor and stimulator proteins for specific cellular functions exist in balance. Protein imbalance in the platelet protein equation indicates the presence and/or progress of a disease. HL’s diagnostic device HessMap™ details the body’s proteomic equation for specific diseases. The HessMap™ is not a single biomarker nor a multi-single biomarker assay. Instead, it is focused on identifying the evolution of disease by following the proteins that represent the dominant functions at each disease stage.
