Hey Diddle Wines
In 2016 Aussie Rules footballers Tom Jonas & Brad Ebert took a friendship forged on the field into the vineyard to create Hey Diddle Wines. Tom & Brad teamed up with esteemed Barossa Winemaker Ben chipman to create wines of place & provenance that show off everything that the state has to offer. The three boys are passion about all things South Australian, and this is reflected in their wines that span the Clare Valley, Barossa, Adelaide Hills, Riverland and McLaren Vale. Different grape variants, modern techniques and a funky and fresh brand have contributed to creating Hey Diddle Wines as we know it. The wines are handcrafted with minimal intervention as to truly reflect the purist expression of vineyard, vintage and variety. From the vineyard to the bottle, only the gentlest techniques are utilised; harvest by hand, whole berry destemming, open-vat temperature controlled fermentation, gentle basket-pressing and no finning or filtration prior to bottling
