As an FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) and a community-based organization, HHM Health is a beacon of hope providing affordable, accessible, and compassionate healthcare to those in the Dallas community and surrounding areas. The clinic is located in the heart of Dallas where the highest density of Section 8 Housing is located. Sixty percent of the children in the area are on free/reduced lunch, a key poverty indicator. They are the working poor ~ many on the brink of homelessness. The clinic is the medical home for residents in need, helping them avoid expensive area hospital emergency room visits for primary care. Here, patients receive comprehensive medical services. HHM Health collaborates with other community providers to coordinate referrals outside its scope of services including extensive diagnostic testing and surgery.
