Just about any online tutoring service is run by a mainstream educational system, but you’ll find something unique here. We are all Masters of Education (M.Ed), so we know how to spot potential learning issues. We also know how to implement the extremely-important phonological awareness instruction, know all about reading levels and can teach writing like champs. Unlike mainstream M.Ed.s, however, we know that there is great value in tradition and that there are some amazing works of literature that have stood the test of time for a reason. We love sharing wonderful works of literature with our students. Writing instruction involves an age-appropriate Socratic-style discussion that the student is to reflect on. We encourage students to not only know how to formulate their thoughts verbally but also in writing. We offer consulting for schools, and parents (specifically homeschool parents) as well as 1:1, specifically-tailored reading intervention and enrichment for students of all ages.
