Combining the motorsports lifestyle with fresh, in-house roasted, small batch, craft coffee, High Octane Coffee Company is far from your average coffee shop. High Octane Coffee serves many signature handcrafted blends with creative names reflecting our gear head lifestyle and humble Ohio Rust Belt roots. Owner, Joe Sylvester, comes from a very different walk of life than traditional coffee shop owners. With a strong passion for artisan coffee, Joe feels that his highly caffeinated delicacies are much better served in an up-beat yet relaxed atmosphere. Starting the business just over a year ago in a small store-front in Canfield, the company sold their first franchise store back in July located in Austintown, Oh. Joe felt it was time to move out of their original location to their new, high-profile location on the corner of Rt. 224 and West Blvd. in Boardman. “We simply outgrew our spot in Canfield and I wanted to focus all our efforts and resources into the new location in Boardman.” States Sylvester. “The Boardman store is everything I wanted High Octane to be” “It has long been a dream of mine to combine my passion of the automotive and racing culture with my love of great coffee,” Sylvester said. “I’m no stranger to the racing and automotive lifestyle. For the past 15-plus years, I have traveled the world racing everything from Monster Trucks to Sprint Cars. Living life on the road and keeping crazy hours, I’ve developed a powerful appreciation for a good cup of coffee. During this fast-paced roller coaster ride that has been my life, I’ve grown to appreciate the little things and have found a new way to share my passion with everyone: High Octane Coffee Company!”
