Our first product is bio-charcoal made by converting invasive weeds water hyacinth into solid biofuel for heating, cooking and barbecuing. The reason we start with the invasive plant named “water hyacinth” because it could grow at average, 7.28 ton per hectare per day, depending on the optimum conditions, others have been harvesting water hyacinth to make into handicraft, however, the growth rate of water hyacinth is far beyond the consumption rate and demand of the handicraft products. HiGi Energy solves the problem by turning water hyacinth into Energy products, reducing the pressure on cutting down trees as 2.6 billion people cook with charcoal & firewood 3 times every single day.
