By using Havening Techniques®, a neuroscience based approach that incorporates Havening Touch®, my three pillar process is to retrain, restore and revive you to your resilient self and finally get you out of your own head! I am an award-winning journalist with over 25 years in the media business and know what it’s like to burn the candle at both ends. As a young journalist on the anchor desk when 9/11 happened, and shortly after facing tremendous loss in my own life, I decided to shift my focus to health and wellness as a storyteller. Through my own transformational journey, I became a Certified Integrative Nutrition Holistic Health Coach and Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner. Touch is a powerful tool when it comes to mental health, and Havening Techniques® was a game-changer for me, not only as part of my own healing journey, but in how I support my clients. In addition to helping individuals and groups in my private practice, I continue my work in media as a health/wellness expert and journalist with appearances on QVC, PBS, and TV stations nationwide. I host “Healthy Communities News”, a health inspired travel show for CVSHealth. And, as an LGBTQIA+ ally, I hosts/co-produce, “CT Voice: Out Loud”, a TV show focusing on inspiring stories of pride. I am also host/creator of The “HIListically Speaking” Podcast; a place where empowering conversations with guests of varied expertise share their own transformational journeys from trauma to triumph through health, healing and humor.
