Hillside Companies

Hillside founder and president, Marty Smith, was raised on CAT equipment and has been involved in the construction industry most of his life. His father was a prominent grading contractor in Colorado and upon moving to California, Marty's vision was to establish a construction company built on quality and integrity. This passion was born in the early 90's when California was hit by waves of massive El Nino storms, resulting in many slope failures and landslides. With a knowledge for design, installation and safety; the Hillside company was born. This strategy of execution has resulted in much success to retain the earth and not one wall failure.
