Him Urja Private Limited

Him Urja Private Limited has been involved for the past twenty seven years in the construction and operation of small Hydro-electric dams for power generation. The first of these is a 4.4 MW plant that became operational in July 2002 and has been generating power since. A second Hydro-electric project of 15MW at Vanala, upstream of Rajwakti was commissioned in April 2009. During the course of these projects, the company garnered considerable experience in infrastructure development. The company has developed the skills to design and fabricate concrete as well as steel structures. Though the company does outsource some design work to consultancy houses with which it has developed links over these years most of the design work is done in-house. The company is now focused on developing the power project of Dewali to achieve total installed capacity of approximately 35 MW scheduled for completion within the next two years.
