HI Sanlucar is active on the property market along the Costa de la Luz (Coast of light). The company was founded by Marco Engelkes and Hanno Wonink, both of whom are Dutch, and is based in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This charming little fishing city is located 25 kilometres west of Jerez de la Frontera. Due to the influence of the Atlantic the summers are less hot and the winters are milder than the Mediterranean. It also has become a lot easier to get to this region nowadays because of the arrival of many new airlines at the airports of Jerez, Seville, Gibraltar, Malaga and Faro.
