Founded in 2013 by 25-year entertainment industry veteran, Bumble Ward, Hive Communication Collective is a fresh approach to communications, focused on narrative and story telling. We offer a full complement of communications services including strategic messaging, media relations, and social and digital media outreach to forward-thinking entertainment companies and creators. Clients include directors Sofia Coppola, Jay Roach, Oscar-nominated Lenny Abrahamson, Ted Melfi and Yann Demange, creator/showrunner John McNamara, writers Paula Pell and Annie Mumolo, Oscar-nominated “American Sniper” writer Jason Hall and Oscar-nominated “Foxcatcher” writers Dan Futterman and E Max Frye. Hive works with Ed Guiney’s Element Pictures, the production company responsible for “Room” and “The Lobster.” In addition, Hive Communication Collective worked with Alejandro González Iñárritu on the release and awards campaign for “Birdman,” the winner of five Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
