Hlub Hmong Center is an initiative under the Non-Profit Organization Ci4Ci, based in Merced since 2010. United by our hlub (love) towards our community and our unique cultural heritage, we seek to tackle social justice disparities by: facilitating Hmong health equity (Learning the Hmong Way), through educational support (Merced Hmong Education Partnership), and celebrating and respecting Hmong culture and people (Many Hands). With many of us being born and raised in Merced, these disparities have affected ourselves and our families in some shape or form. We seek to challenge preconceived notions by promoting our heritage, inspiring growth, empowering youth, conserving customs and languages, and simply being Hmong.
