HOISKO is a brand which combines an ancient material, the Finnish wood, and a traditional know-how to the future technology bringing a modern, healthy way of living available to everyone. HOISKO cross-laminated timber (CLT) suits perfectly for multi-storey buildings, sports arenas, public buildings and family homes. Houses made of CLT are healthy and endure from generation to generation. HOISKO products are both CE and M1 low emission certified. HOISKO uses only the best C24 quality wood and safe, certified adhesives. The factory has the latest CLT production line technology in Finland and the production quality control is strict, performed by the official quality control authorities. The company behind the brand, CLT Finland Ltd, was established in 2015 by six companies and five private persons in Hoisko, Alajärvi, Finland. The Hoisko village has a strong tradition of wood processing now brought back to life again by the company. HOISKO shareholders represent the Finnish top knowledge in their own fields and create a value chain that enables cost-efficiency and quality. The production started in March 2017 and the annual capacity will reach 70 cubic meters of CLT element.
