Holistic Evolution is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing health equity on behalf of young men of color ages 16–24. Rooted in Healthy People 2030, we focus on upstream, community-level strategies that address the social determinants of health shaping life outcomes in our nation. Our mission is to build a community that encourages the positive evolution of young men of color by supporting mentoring, health equity, and prevention. We envision a world where they are safe, supported, and resourced to achieve their best quality of life. We partner with organizations to prevent substance misuse, suicide, violence, risky sexual behavior, and chronic health issues. Through evidence-based programs, mentoring, youth participatory action research, and innovative engagement, we connect young men of color to resourced, healing-centered communities. Since 2019, we’ve collaborated with dozens of partners, supported hundreds of young men of color directly, and reached nearly one million people through campaigns and events. We invite funders, employers, educators, health systems, and community organizations to join us in building ecosystems where young men of color can thrive.
