My goal is to minimize the awkwardness and gap that can potentially arise between you and your Korean client (I’m talking about those times when you speak and from the awkward look on their face you know that they didn’t understand you, but you both keep moving forward so as not to break the mood). KOREAN COURT INTERPRETER It can be difficult finding a Korean court interpreter. Depending on where you live there aren't many around, and if there are then they may not be properly trained. If you speak Korean then you may not be satisfied with the rendition. My goal is to provide you and your Korean client with a pleasant, language issue-free experience so that you can focus on your case. DEPOSITIONS When a native English interpretation of the Korean language on record, which a judge will later review, is essential for success, I PROVIDE THAT FOR YOU. English is my first language. Before depositions I spend time with you helping educate your client on properly using an interpreter and good techniques to answering questions, such as avoiding side conversations with the interpreter and only saying things that they want interpreted. The result? A quicker deposition. I am well aware of Korean customs and the language, so I can save you time by explaining Korean etiquette and nuances to other attorneys or judges so you don't have to. If you're not familiar with the culture or language then I will teach you. The result? Get the job done more quickly and better rapport with your Korean client.
