Holocron One

Holocron One was founded with a dual purpose. Firstly, we help startups to bootstrap their cybersecurity posture and application development life cycle. Secondly, we assist established small and mid-level businesses and organisations in their effort to make their already existing software and system implementations and work practices more secure. Experience showed that in the early stages many startups need to compromise between two challenges. On one hand they usually lose velocity by starting their implementation process while following best practices. On the other hand they try to get the proof of concept to validation faster but struggle later when trying to fit a non-ideal implementation into a proper security framework to be compliant with internal and external security requirements such as audits and penetration tests. This was coupled with each company implementing the same measures over and over again from ground up, unnecessarily. Holocron One provides Infrastructure-as-Code reference implementations for a set of security tools and measures based on its clients' exact needs. This ensures that the developed software meets the respective industry's security requirements from as early in the company's life with as little impact on the delivery speed as possible. Our services also include general consultancy, security assessment of existing systems and applications, third-party license compliance evaluation, providing reference implementations and system upgrades, and assisting in establishing a security strategy based on best practices. The team at Holocron One proudly contributes to open source projects, believing in that the desired level of security can be achieved easier via transparency. Preferring the usage of open source tools also makes it sure that a cost-efficient solution can be found which can be tailored to the needs of each of our clients.
