Holy Cross Ngo

Holy Cross Social Service Society is a grassroots non-profit organization implementing community development interventions in Bhamini Mandal, Parvathipuram Manyam District, Andhra Pradesh—a tribal-dominated Aspirational Block located along the Andhra–Odisha border. The region faces persistent challenges, including rugged terrain, limited access to basic services, livelihood insecurity, and gender-based vulnerabilities, necessitating focused, evidence-based, and community-driven development approaches. Holy Cross works in partnership with government departments, CSR partners, and national and international development organizations to plan and implement targeted, outcome-oriented programs in education and Social & Emotional Learning (SEL), adolescent girls’ empowerment, women’s livelihoods, community health, and climate-resilient (climate-smart) agriculture. Through strong community institutions, local mentorship, and participatory implementation models, Holy Cross ensures effective last-mile delivery, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Our work contributes to inclusive growth, improved human development indicators, and long-term resilience among Indigenous and marginalized communities in one of the state’s most underserved regions.
