Home Calls provides a daily telephone check, to ensure that older members of our community are safe and well whilst living in their own homes. Our telephone check is at an agreed time every day, in place of, or in support of, existing home care. Many care support services are available, usually after a problem has arisen. Home Calls provides a pro-active service. It happens, by agreement, at a set time every day and once in place, it doesn’t need to be activated from within the recipient’s home. Our telephone care service provides peace of mind to all and helps: • Service recipients to remain independent within their own homes • Care service providers, local authorities and health services to deliver personal care at home in an effective and economical way • Family members and care providers are able to confidently balance the delivery of care support at home and every day life.
