HOME-TIES Online Shop is an eCommerce platform on which Zimbabweans from all over the world can buy and send groceries to their families back home without moving an inch. HOME-TIES is part of the Red Octagon Group. In line with our Vision, Mission, Values and Purpose, we have a big heart for Africa and are keen to play our part by contributing towards the reviving and regeneration of our continent, one community at a time. We strongly believe in and hence embrace an ethic of purpose before profits. To this end. The HOME-TIES Heart was birthed as our CSR initiative through which we hope to actualize our mandate. We will achieve this by facilitating food relief projects, provision of health and education services through partnerships with donors and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with big African and International corporates. To this end we have come up with the HOME-TIES Brands initiative which is a total of 10 products from which we have selected 7 which will either source from manufacturers and pack or formulate then distributed to regions in Africa where they are required. Part of its responsibilities include product development. Our Project Management Unit is responsible for identifying needs throughout Africa in line with our 5 key project area namely provision of basic Health services, Education and Technology, provision of clean water, Skills transfer and Food Relief. It then recruits and assigns relevant resources to projects and coordinates activities. The Funding & Procurement Unit is responsible for establishing funding partnerships and sourcing of food and other raw materials from producers and manufacturers. We are proud to be associated with very capable and highly competent companies to ensure high standards and compliance in all our processes from food safety to distribution. These include Kelpack, IMCD, Packaging World, Chempure and Kalex. We continue to partner with more companies as the exciting journey of our purpose unfolds.
