My name is Lucy. I am a mum to two boys and a qualified interior designer. I appreciate exactly how busy mum life can be and the importance of having a home that works for both children and parents! When the boys were very little we moved out of London into our new home. I was juggling being a mum and trying to kick start a new interior design role at a leading furniture boutique. I had very little time to focus on the house. However, with time, I have now created a home the boys will enjoy living in for years to come - one that will grow with them. I have worked hard to design a home that works for me and my husband - a place where we feel relaxed and happy. Our home meets all of our practical needs and is unique to us as it reflects all four of our personalities. It was during COVID when I was approached by several friends who were looking for help with their own family homes. They came to me as I understand the specific needs that come with a family home without falling short on beautiful aesthetics. It was difficult with restrictions in place, so I ended up doing most of their designs virtually. The interior design industry has seen a huge shift since COVID. With the advances in design technology, online interior design has taken the world by storm. Not only is it convenient - you can collaborate with your designer from anywhere, at any time and from any device. Online design also saves you hundreds of pounds in designer fees, installation fees and measuring up fees. For busy professionals who need flexibility virtual design is perfect.
