Homeless House

Homeless House CIC is a community interest company dedicated to preventing homelessness and building pathways to brighter futures. We design and deliver trauma-informed, youth-led systems that empower vulnerable individuals across Greater Manchester and the Northwest. Our work spans prisons, communities, and frontline services. We have implemented reintegration pathways for residents within HMP during the crucial three months before release, established prison libraries, and funded literacy programmes across four prisons, resulting in a collection of real-life stories written by inmates. Beyond the prison system, we’ve built tailored mentoring programmes for young people at risk of crime and designed innovative tools to support frontline workers and the public within the homeless sector. At the heart of our mission is collaboration. We partner with councils, publishers, schools, and social enterprises to deliver practical, scalable solutions for food security, literacy, and reintegration. Every initiative reflects our belief that lasting change comes from systems built with empathy, innovation, and community leadership.
