Honours Driving School

At Honours Driving School, our instructors know the importance of safety on the road. They know that the consequences of even the smallest distractions, and the smallest mistakes, can be deadly. Our student’s safety and their clear driving records is our first priority; that is why, at the heart of our Honours Driving School, exists the statement “there’s no point in trying to drive from one place to another, unless you can do it safely”. We offer a MTO approved beginner driver education course that will prepare you for any driving condition in any season. Completion of our in-class and in-car lessons means you receive a MTO certificate, making you eligible for up to a 41% insurance discount, as recognized by the Insurance Bureau of Canada. You can attend missed sessions at your convenience so long as it is in the same year you registered. Students will always be eligible to start their in-car lessons along with their in- class lessons if they wish to speed up the process. Only at Honours Driving School, will you be taught life saving techniques such as: Emergency Maneuvers Swerve Control Driving in dangerous weather conditions (ice, snow, fog) Defensive Driving Risk Perception Collision Avoidance Emergency Braking Reflex Control Routine Surrounding Checks Our Instructors: Your learning depends on the skill of our Instructors and we know that. We make sure that your instructor isn’t just your instructor, he’s your favourite teacher ever! Each instructor must pass our strict set of guidelines so that no student has to suffer. All of our instructors must take an annual recertification test so that they teach you everything you need to know with maximum efficiency.
