Honstein Oil

Honstein Oil was formed in 1982 to distribute fuels and lubricants in the northern New Mexico area. The company began as a partnership between Rod Honstein and Rod’s father, the late Roy Honstein. Roy had been a Chevron distributor since the late 1950’s in Espanola. Honstein Oil began its operations in Santa Fe and moved to its present location on Airport Road in 1990. In the years to come, Honstein would acquire several other locations to expand its service throughout the State of New Mexico, Southern Colorado, South East Utah, Eastern Arizona, East Texas, Western Louisiana and Central Wyoming. Today, Honstein Oil distributes a wide variety of products and services to customers in construction, mining, ranching, gravel production, industrial operations, government, transportation, agriculture, oil and gas fields, drilling and fracking and many other industries. We are committed to serving businesses with all their fuel, lubricant and chemical needs.
