Hook & Pan is a blend of creativity, vision, and resilient ambition. Its founder, Greg Otterholt, was born with one arm and labeled a “defect.” Greg calls it “free weight reduction.” Yet, what others thought was a limitation became rocket fuel for his determination. It catapulted him to international athletic success—captured by the cameras of ESPN and Wide World of Sports for ski racing, smacking a one-handed hole-in-one that landed in Golf Digest, & showcased at the ’94 World Cup playing with the U.S. Amputee Soccer Exhibition Team. Greg then went from being the story to telling the stories. After earning a degree in broadcast journalism, he launched a career in both radio & TV. Success behind the camera quickly opened doors in front of it again—as a TV reporter, weatherman, and anchor. His music creativity crescendoed as well composing songs & jingles for radio & TV while also performing music of his own. He shared stages with world-class & Grammy-winning artists—proving you don’t need two arms to lift an audience. His 5 solo albums reflect his passion to inspire & entertain with an eternally positive perspective. After 17 years on TV, the station went up for sale, eliminating the newscast and crew. But Greg believes obstacles are just storylines waiting for a twist. He seized that moment to combine the unique set of skills he gained in TV, radio, advertising, studio recording, writing, producing, directing, & performing to create Hook & Pan Productions. Greg has produced & managed local, national, & international campaigns, helping clients share their stories across major networks & media platforms worldwide. His journey proves we can achieve beyond our circumstances & expectations with grit, persistence, & imagination. That same vision helps us build EACH client their own story of success.
