HOPE SF is an ambitious cross-sector initiative to transform San Francisco’s most distressed public housing sites into vibrant and healthy communities. San Francisco’s HOPE SF Initiative is the nation’s first large-scale public housing transformation effort aimed at de-concentrating poverty, reducing social isolation, and creating vibrant mixed-income communities without mass displacement. HOPE SF serves over individuals residing in four public housing communities in the Bayview, Potrero Hill, and Visitacion Valley neighborhoods of San Francisco. This Initiative is led by the City and County of San Francisco, Enterprise Community Partners and the San Francisco Foundation.
