Services are provided to both 'business to consumer' and 'business to business' brands.'HortConsult Ltd' is an international horticultural consultancy business based in Norwich, England, solely owned by Mr. Barrie Sims our President and Commercial Director. HortConsult draws on over twenty five years of varied experience within the horticultural industry. This varied experience includes working in senior positions for leading consumer brands and plant breeding companies covering the UK, EU, Japan, N.America and emerging markets such as China, along with numerous other countries in both hemispheres. Mr. Sims comprehensive experience includes strategic planning, financial budgets, EBIT performance, brand and product royalty licensing, international sales & marketing, group purchasing, including ornamental and vegetable seed species, plant and bulb species, potatoes, fruit, hard goods and gift products. Other experience includes seed production, seed technology, plant breeding, plant trials and extensive staff management.
