Hose Technology

A growth stage corporate-owned chain of walk-in hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial hose repair shops. Founded in 1982 with a 'service-now' concept, the "HOSE TECH" brand became a dominant entity in the aftermarket hose segment in the London/Woodstock Ontario region. Strategically acquired in 2017 by hydraulic equipment manufacturer The UMI Group of Guelph, Ontario, who refocused the model with broadly expanded product, service and custom-assembly offerings for the aftermarket and on-demand industrial segments. Successful execution has driven robust organic growth into new regional markets anchored in North Bay Nipissing, Guelph Waterloo Wellington, and Belleville Qunite. New openings targeting Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia being driven by continuing acquisitions and key-staff on-boarding.
