In recent years, the cost of providing healthcare has soared worldwide. If you are like most other hospitals, you are faced with rapidly increasing costs of medical supplies and you are under constant pressure to reduce the cost of operations. Hospitals United can help you in that endeavor. Hospitals United is a global healthcare cooperative and a social entrepreneurial venture focused on improving the quality, affordability and access to healthcare. As our name 'Hospitals United' suggests we're a platform that unites different hospitals from varying geographies to harness the principle of 'economies of scale' in bringing down the cost of medical supplies, consumables and equipment by at least 10 to 20%. We negotiate and publish price lists and frame agreements on behalf of Hospitals United’s members, providing access an array of international suppliers and manufacturers. Our low-cost and efficient operating model, for developing and running the cooperative’s platform and infrastructure, means that both membership and services are free to hospitals. In return, we ask only that hospitals encourage other hospitals to join. Hospitals United aims to have a global reach in a manner and scale never achieved before. Our initial focus is on India, the Middle East and Asia, but our vision is to serve more than member hospitals around the globe.
