Hostage know-how goes into sportswear and outerwear garments (down filled-wadded-mixed with leather-garment dyed-seam sealed and seam taped …), tailored and semi-tailored jackets and coats and rainwear. Categories like shirts and trousers or suiting are not produced, cause Hostage is fully specialized in both men and women overcoats and outerwear. We usually give an ex-work fully manufactured product to our customer: this mean we have inner product development and pattern making and we always prefer to manage fabrics and trims research and purchases since first samples to production getting directly in contact with raw materials mills. Shipping and invoicing details will be provided from our administration dept. Our main customers are mainly iconic brands (Ralph Lauren, Burberry’s, Giorgio Armani, Belstaff, Dolce & Gabbana…) and we produce both menswear and womenswear. We usually apply a proto cost (depending on commercial agreements established with the customer) that consists of a fully manufactured gmt + pattern amendments e/o creation, and a sample cost that’s usually upcharged at 100% of the Made In Italy production cost (we always make first protos and samples in Italy). We usually take about a pair of weeks (depending on fabric arrival and on workmanship chosen) to realize a first proto or a sample: this timing always needs to be well confirmed and agreed according to supply chain timing.
