Hot Pink Deicer

The concept and business model for Hot Pink Deicer was created by a desire to have a vehicle that could raise money to HELP local families who are struggling financially because of their battle with Breast Cancer. A Breast Cancer diagnosis takes it’s toll on families in many ways….not only physically and emotionally, but for many it can be financially devastating too! This is where we knew we could have a positive impact. Thousands of tons of de-icer is used annually throughout our state. Owners, Troy and Linda Clogg thought, “if we can raise a few pennies on each 50 lb. bag we sell, we can really make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need”. Each year more area snow contractors, retail stores and individuals embrace this ideal. Since our inception, in the fall of 2010, Hot Pink Deicer has been able to offer a financial gift to a family each year right here in Southeast Michigan.
