Housing Scout, formerly Longhorn Leasing, was founded in 2010 with the mission of truly putting the client first. Following the frustration of finding an affordable apartment in Central Austin, Richie Gill decided to start Housing Scout while working toward a Plan II degree at the University of Texas at Austin. Since the company’s founding, our clients’ interest have been first and foremost in our daily operations. This dedication to client satisfaction has helped us become the largest apartment locator in Austin, serving thousands of Austinities each year.
