Houston Blockchain Alliance

The Houston Blockchain Alliance is a community-driven organization dedicated to accelerating the adoption of blockchain and decentralized technologies—starting in Houston, and reaching far beyond. Founded in 2018, HBA brings together a diverse network of builders, founders, developers, enterprises, educators, and policymakers who are shaping the future of Web3. Our mission is to connect, educate, and empower individuals and organizations by providing a platform for collaboration, learning, and innovation. We explore the full spectrum of emerging technologies—from zero-knowledge proofs and privacy-first infrastructure to enterprise use cases and the convergence of blockchain and AI. This intersection is unlocking powerful new possibilities in data ownership, digital identity, and trustless decision-making—and we're here to help the community make sense of it all. Through events, AMAs, workshops, and hackathons—both in-person and virtual—we spark conversations, share knowledge, and build meaningful relationships that lead to real-world impact. Whether you're launching a Web3 startup, applying decentralized tools in a traditional industry, or exploring how blockchain and AI can reshape your business, you're welcome here. We believe the future of tech isn’t bound by geography—and that Houston, with its global reach in energy, healthcare, logistics, and innovation, has a unique role to play in shaping the next wave of digital transformation. Join us to stay ahead of the curve, meet like-minded builders, and help shape a decentralized, intelligent, privacy-first future.
