How To Be Right About Everything is a discernment strategy. It is a way to learn how to be right all the time at nobody else's expense. Its purpose is to help each person contextualize their life experiences in a manner that maximizes their ability to learn. Life is change. Change therefore cannot be avoided, but resistance to it can yield very unfortunate experiences. Without tools to handle change, individuals and organizations find themselves shifting between states of frenetic excitement to morbid apathy. These fluctuations need not be. They represent attempts by either individuals or organizations to control and to fixate on the attainment of specific outcomes objectified by the need for control. Control may be the most pervasive and addictive form of self-deception within which many find themselves trapped. But pursuing Control as an objective carries with it many assumptions which when exposed for their true value are always seen as nothing. Pursuing nothing then becomes an inane objective and cheerful acceptance follows naturally. Passing, however, from an exclusive Control focus to one of harmony might be characteristically difficult for many. And, thus the need for an inner practice of reality-based affirmations that facilitate the steady transition. This practice may take an instant or a lifetime but the moment by moment benefits and the healthy panaroma of relationship experiences makes it well worth the effort.
