Founded by Lyssa Howells, a dedicated animal enthusiast with 30 years of experience, we are a non-profit 501(c)(3) registered organization committed to rescuing and rehoming animals in need. Our Mission: We embark on a heartfelt journey to rescue furry companions from various circumstances and provide them with the love and care they deserve. Our ultimate goal is to find each precious soul a safe and loving forever home. A Glimpse Into Our Impact: Since the approval of our 501(c)(3) status in 2020, Howls Rescue has touched the lives of 420 animals, offering them a second chance for a brighter future. Over the past four years, we've been dedicated to making a positive impact on both the animals we rescue and the families who welcome them into their homes. Community Collaboration: As a small woman-founded and run business, we believe in the power of collaboration. We work closely with local businesses to host adoption events and have established meaningful partnerships with brands for donations, gifts, prizes, and joyful gatherings. Together, we create a network of support that fuels our mission. Meet Lyssa Howells: Lyssa, our founder, is more than a rescuer; she's the real-life Dr. Doolittle. With a specialization in dogs, particularly in bustling city settings, she outshines any dog whisperer. Beyond her rescue efforts, Lyssa's day job involves dog training and grooming. Having discovered her calling at a young age, Lyssa has been training dogs since 1994. Her approach revolves around positive reinforcement, ensuring that every training session is not only effective but also enjoyable for our canine companions.
