We are excited to introduce, MawMaw’s boxes of Hope, Peace & Love our ministry to at-risk children around our country. We believe that children need to experience the hope, peace and love that comes with knowing Jesus. Many children in this country have never heard the name Jesus, let alone know the hope, peace and love He promises to those who know Him. With the guidance of our Lord, we have been inspired to bring joy to these beautiful children and show them that they are loved by mailing them personal boxes of Hope, Peace & Love. Our prayer is to assure them that Jesus loves them and, with Him in their life, they will never be alone. We are in the process of constructing our website. Upon completion, it will contain many resources to encourage children to grow in their knowledge of Jesus. MawMaw’s boxes of Hope, Peace & Love is a fun and exciting way for Christian adults to be able to reach out to at-risk children—to show them that with Jesus in their young lives that they can have Hope, Peace and Love no matter their circumstances. Our efforts are organized under HPL Ministries, Inc, a Florida non-for-profit corporation, and we are dedicated to glorifying God through the encouragement of these children. Our primary means of reaching our client children will involve direct mailing MawMaw's boxes of Hope, Peace & Love. Initially, the boxes will go out to children introducing MawMaw Jan and her gift of love trough Jesus Christ and will continue on birthdays and special holidays. MawMaw’s boxes of Hope, Peace and Love will include a personal letter of encouragement to each child emphasizing the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. The letter will seek to encourage them to be kind, to never be mean or cruel, to treat everyone as they want to be treated even if they are different. The box will also contain various treats, toys and other items geared to Jesus, hope, peace & love. MawMaw’s boxes of Hope, Peace and Love will also contain a self-addressed stamped envelope asking each child to write or draw a picture about something they learned about Jesus or themselves, or even about their favorite thing in the box. Our prayer is that children will start to write again, and learn to be thankful.
