HTCE GmbH IN-SITU annealing lehr ROLL CLEANING SERVICES For more than 10years, we have successfully cleaned more than transport rollers in various annealing lehrs in the flat glass industry, using dry ice blasting. Cleaning can be carried out during ongoing production without any significant impairment of your glass production. Many of our customers use this option, preferably during the production of 4mm float glass. Today, we are proven to be able to remove well over 95% of sulphate and tin oxide deposits from the surface of your stainless-steel rollers. The cleaning process is contactless, which eliminates the mechanical damage caused by removal, scraping or grinding. Because the dry ice dissolves without leaving any residue, there is no entry of abrasive into the interior of the annealing lehr. Defects and optical flaws in the glass caused by contamination on the surface of the transport rollers can be ruled out by cleaning. No more sulphate flakes are carried along and damage the glass during transport. Cleaning improves the reject rate and enables you to produce the best glass quality.
