Hugh Jones Consulting is here to help make higher education in the UK work better. Hugh Jones Consulting was founded in 2014 with the aim of providing specialised support to strengthen the governance, management and strategic direction of higher education institutions in the UK. The consultancy draws on over twenty years’ experience of leadership in higher education professional services, including board level experience in prestigious English and Welsh universities, bringing a diverse set of skills and expertise to support the development and implementation of strategic projects, the strengthening of professional services, and the review and improvement of governance structures. Hugh Jones Consulting works with senior leaders in higher education and in organisations partnering with the HE sector to identify challenges and deliver results. Projects can range from short-term advisory sessions and the mentoring of professional services staff to the longer-term development of strategic initiatives. Each project is carefully tailored to the specific needs of the institution.
