Hughes Solicitors is based in the attractive market town of Heathfield, East Sussex – equidistant between Royal Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne. Established in 2009, our lawyers look after clients who live and work in Heathfield and the surrounding villages of Burwash, Buxted, Mayfield, Rotherfield, Wadhurst Etchingham, Horam, Hawkhurst and the town of Uckfield. Our focus is on advising private clients on their personal legal affairs, including: • moving home or buy-to-let investments; • making a will, power of attorney, and inheritance planning • probate and estate administration; and • care of the elderly and management of their affairs in later life. We enjoy working for our clients, getting to know them personally and providing the best possible legal advice. It is our job to protect their interests though the important stages in life. Hughes Solicitors has built its reputation on the quality of advice and the personal service which we provide and, as a result, many of our new clients come to us through word of mouth and recommendation by clients or professional advisers. At the start of 2020 we moved to new offices on Heathfield High Street – you may have seen our signs at the old NatWest bank – where we have much improved accessibility for any clients with mobility aids. Our location makes this a great place to live and work, and staff enjoy being part of the local community, supporting events such as the Heathfield Show and the Mayfield Festival.
