Hugo & Hoby began with a simple mission – to make beautiful, locally crafted, and sustainable furniture more widely accessible. Inspired by our grandfathers, Hugo Kukelhaus and Hoby Young, both designers, crafters, and environmentalists, we set out to make modern, handcrafted furnishings that would last a lifetime. We've partnered with our country's best craftspeople, from Maine to Appalachia, who build each piece with care and love. Our goal is to celebrate these talented craftspeople, tell the stories of the unique places where each piece is made, and help brands - including hotels, restaurants, offices and developers - reinforce their unique mission and style through their furnishings.
