Human Harmony Nepal

Human Harmony Nepal is a non-governmental Organization that organizes community development projects that address crucial needs in disadvantaged, marginalized and rural areas in Nepal. With these projects - in which we value humanity, integrity, impartiality, empathy and respect - we work closely with communities to support women empowerment programs, teaching programs, health care programs and construction programs-Educational programs: Human Harmony Nepal provides teaching projects in several fields; such as teaching English or a subject (math, geography, arts, educational programs for girls, etc.). When volunteers are not in the classroom teaching, they are outside, reading, playing sports and games with the students-Woman empowerment programs: In order to fulfill the goal of gender equality, our Women empowerment programs aims at ensuring Nepalese women and girls awareness about their fundamental rights as a women and grand them equal opportunities with men and boys in education, employment, leadership and decision-making at all levels. You will therefore be able to help us organize awareness campaigns that you will be presenting to women living in marginalized communities-Construction work: The April 2015 Nepal earthquake killed nearly people and injured nearly Hundreds of thousands of people were made homeless with entire villages destroyed, across many districts of the country. Since Nepal has little ability to fund a major reconstruction effort on its own, our projects are focused on initiatives within our local communities, who have needs around building and renovating homes and rebuild basic infrastructure in mountain villages-Health programs: The right to live a healthy life should be available to every individual. Unfortunately, diseases are more prevalent in Nepal than in other South Asian countries, especially in rural areas. Nepal is ranked 139th in life expectancy with the average Nepali living to approximately 66 years.
