Human Hydration
Dr. Lawrence Armstrong developed The Urine Color Chart (UCC) in order to help anyone who is concerned with hydration. Anyone, including you, can check the color of your urine to see if more fluids are needed to hydrate yourself more, or if the body is well hydrated. No one needs an advanced degree, a special kit, a specialized collection container, or an at home blood draw, to check the color of their urine. After urination, but before flushing, simply look into the bowl to see the color. The color standards are used in volunteer human research to help us have a more advanced understanding of our bodies. Our mission is to have all of the people of the world well hydrated, and to know how to personally check where they stand.
