Be Human-Savvy was established in 2020 by Liv Oginska. Liv is.* An experienced Veterinary Surgeon * Emotional Intelligence Coach (Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Goleman's Institude certified)* Certified Workplace Conflict Mediator * Professional Practice (EQ and team dynamics) Lecturer at Murdoch University * PhD candidate investigating the impact of leaders' EQ on their team's psychological safety and other wellbeing- and retention-related parameters Working with fantastic veterinary teams and leaders, helping them create a "human-friendly" workplace with a psychologically safe culture and powerful intra-team dynamics, where employees want to stay and thrive. The process is enabled by assessing and then further enhancing the emotional competencies of the veterinary professionals, in particular leaders (communication & feedback, charisma, engagement, motivation, empathy & compassion, and conflict mediation.) Through increasing people's self-awareness and other elements of emotional intelligence (EQ), Liv helps them defeat impostor syndrome, perfectionism and challenges related to the interpersonal dynamics within their personal and professional lives. In simple words: Liv teaches leaders and teams how to "speak Human" and become human-savvy.
