Human Underscore

We believe that music is a magical part of the storytelling process, because we believe that what you hear is what you see. Our mission is to provide music that not only brings the story on screen to life, but that resonates with audiences on a human level. Human_Underscore is the Nashville-based passion project of musical duo Chris McMurtry and Mason Frenzel. Having both been involved in the music industry for over 25 years, they first began making music together in when they formed the band Aireline. Chris is a composer and multi-platinum recording artist, with 26 albums and over 300 compositions to his credit. Named one of Billboard’s “2019 Digital Power Players” he has also made an impact in the music industry as a tech founder. Mason is an accomplished storyteller spanning a wide range of creative professional fields including songwriting, visual art/design, video production, and video editing.
