HumaneHomes (Pty) Ltd was founded at the end of 2009 by John Fleming (Architect) and Kelvin Nemacha (Quantity Surveyor) in response to the firm’s extensive design and testing with Cashbuild of a viable, cost effective and predictable delivery solution to home building. In partnership with South Africa’s largest building material retailer, we have focussed on simplifying the many complex and disparate steps required in building on existing properties, for which the cottage range was initially designed. What design? Where to start? Who to see? How much money, time and effort to get things done? These are only some of the many unknowns that discourage property owners from building on their properties. It is however the traditional risk during the building stage through cost and time overruns that contributes most to discourage property owners from building.
